Possible use
  • Contact with product as down pipe system.
  • Pneumatic transportation of the individual components.
  • Air extraction systems (transporting dusts).
Product characteristics
  • Moderate bulk density.
  • Structure: often crystal as they are made of sugar,
  • Some pasty substances,
  • t > 65° C possible.
  • Products can absorb water.
Special characteristics
  • Clumping/caking can occur.
  • System must be well sealed because of the required odour neutrality.
  • Electrostatic charging occurs and earthing is therefore necessary
Primary use
  • Materials: Mostly Cr Ni steels
  • Pipe diameter: 100 – 150 mm, if transporting product, 200 – 500 mm for return air systems
  • Wall thicknesses: s = 1 mm or s = 2 mm
